Where are you from? I am from a little town in Central Texas called Mason. So small it doesn’t even have a stop light!
How did you meet your spouse? My wife and I met in Colorado. We worked for the same company and a mutual friend within the company introduced us.
If you could only listen to one musical genre what would it be? Praise and Worship music/Christian Artists
If you were stranded on an island and could only have one food with you, what would it be? Deer Sausage (yum!!)
What sports/teams do you follow/root for most? Atlanta Braves
What are your top 3 hobbies? Hunting, Hiking, Watching Movies
Outside of the Bible what is your favorite book? Any C.S. Lewis Book
If you could only have one book of the Bible what would it be? Why? Matthew — The accounts of Jesus’ life/ministry and all that we can learn through how Christ lived and led here on earth. Also, the full account of the cross, resurrection, and the great commission.
What’s one bit of wisdom someone has passed onto you that you think everyone should hear? There’s a natural tension in human relationships so we’re gonna bump into each other. It’s what we do on the other side of the bump that sets us apart as Christians.
How old were you when you felt called to serve in the way you do? 18
How did you first become aware of that call? I began leading worship for a church my freshman year of college.
What excites you in your ministry? To hear the congregation singing and to see young worshipers gain confidence and mature into lead worshipers.
