Where are you from? I’m from Phoenix, AZ.
How did you meet your spouse? I met Daniel through my college roommate. I was in my sophomore year and we were all heading to a Campus Crusade party.
If you could only listen to one musical genre what would it be? Classical
If you were stranded on an island and could only have one food with you, what would it be? Fresh bread
What sports/teams do you follow/root for most? I’m not attached to anyone in particular.
What are your top 3 hobbies? Reading, baking, playing board games
Outside of the Bible what is your favorite book? Voyage of the Dawn Treader
If you could only have one book of the Bible what would it be? Why? The book of John. There are so many worth reading, but I think it is important to start with one of the gospels, and for me I like to start with John. It offers a personal and powerful depiction of who Jesus is.
What’s one bit of wisdom someone has passed onto you that you think everyone should hear? Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.
How old were you when you felt called to serve in the way you do? In my later 20s, for ministry. Working with kids came in my teens.
How did you first become aware of that call? Both times a need was being addressed.
What excites you in your ministry? Helping students to learn, being part of a bigger community, getting to share the love of God.
