When Jesus talks about the high cost of following Him some natural questions arise: Why should I? Why would I?
We will only understand Jesus’ call to discipleship when we marvel at his breathtaking grace and sacrifice for us.
Once we rest in that, it makes sense to say with His faithful followers throughout history:
“I love Jesus more than I love anyone else.”
“I’m willing to suffer for Jesus.”
“I’m in it for the long haul.”
and
“I surrender all to Jesus.”
